the warmth of the fellowship among the dameans at the reunion was almost
palpable...there was caring and sharing of each other from make-up, clothes,
stories, jokes and most especially FOOD!!
room 228 was the designated " cafeteria " for the occasion ..if you
were
hungry and expressed it, someone will tell you, " go to room 228 ".
and sure
enough there will be food.. nanay ferrariz and manang inday gonzalez madria
will help you find a plate. manang inday brought adobo, mangga ( the really
juicy one) bing ferrariz bought a tray of puto , baby martinez brought a
large aluminum tray of fried tilapia, fried smelts and the infamous
ginamos!!! whew! until we checked out, the room, still smelt like "
whatever
" .shirley zolina victa bribed the cleaning lady with puto so she won't
mind.
it worked.. she kept saying " gracias" . inday m. felt so embarrassed
but
without those food a lot of alums would have starved....vida provided a
continuous supply of hot kanin. she brings down the rice cooker hidden in a
p[lastic bag. she brought down monggo with balunggay leaves... Bro. Willy
said, busog ako but the fried smelt, bulad and fried fish were so inviting so
Orman and him dug in...
as the old cliche' goes slightly improvised, " the closest way to anybody's
heart is through his/her stomach "
hey, bro. willy and orman, HINT, HINT, HINT for the next reunion!
may all your days be happy, your nights calm and peaceful and your hearts
full of love! God Bless.

Good Day Everyone!
A week ago this Saturday we ended our beautiful, memorable, woderful,
considered to be most-treasured "Gala Night", hoping that each one of
us who attended the reunion had savored every minute of togetherness, laughter.
I wish, I wish, it didn't end at all. Are you still reminicing the 5-day affair
to remember? Chris and I still do til this writing.
Speaking of the "Fair to Remember" - I would like to thank those who
helped and donated and contributed to make this a "huge" success.
Prima, did I use the right word "huge"? For a start, I believe we did
a good job, huh? And for a paaman, I got all those left overs, like: pens,
scotch tape, cello, pieces of string, wires. So, for the next reunion you know
whom to approach for these tidbits. Thank you, thank you all who stayed behind
to man the bazaar: Inday, Tally, Nang Inday (Madria), Olivia Te, Gerry, Nena,
Binggot, Chris (my Palangga), Eillen B, and Mrs. Ferrariz and Vida B. This list
include the Chairman, Minda H., exMr. President, Angel Boloico, and of course
the brain of this fair, exMs. Secretary, Prima.
Likewise, thank you everyone for your generous donations: Binggot, Inday, Noh
and Zeny, William E, Ida E, Arsenia, Ana Fe D (our newly elected Secretary),
Minda Z, Nosy (for the foods), Baby Martinez M (for the foods), Joe L (from
China), Chris and Prime, and Nena G A, Angel and Vida, Ma'am Dorie, Bro. Willy
and Orman M. I sincerely apologize for the names I missed to mention, but deep
in Notre Dame's name you are always etched in her heart.
Well then, friends and new acquaintances, and classmates (forever)... til our
next reunion, it may happen earlier than 2003, hmmmmmmm?
Love (in Notre Dame),
Lanie Zerrudo-Gammon

P.S. Prime, don't forget - I have all those uniforms and the Philippine flag.

This was my "first reunion" and it was quite an experience! There
were only 2 of us from Batch 80 NDDCHS (myself and Abed Adre) but it sure was a
lot of fun having to meet fellow Notre Dameans. Even got to meet my parents'
classmates... wow! I felt young again!
Prima, Angel and the rest of the shakers - Kudos! Job well done... couldn't
thank you enough for putting it together!
Bro. Joe Damian - quite an honor to meet one of the pioneers! You even knew my
grandpa "OT Santos" (Santito). Hope to see you in GenSan 2003. I'd
love to hear more of your stories.
Bro. Paul and Bro. James - great pleasure seeing you again after 20 something
years.
Bro. Vic - I still remember when you ripped my shirt open coz I wouldn't button
it all the way. Anyway, that was then, I'm a good boy now. Nice seeing you at
the gala!
Orman & Bro. Willy - hope you had a great time. Enjoy the rest of your
stay.
To all fellow Notre Dameans - thanks for the wonderful time. Let's do it again!

subsequent chapters (limit 20 minutes each) next reunion. doc mendoza's speech
definitely evoked some teen-age suppressed memories and of course, orman's
presentation should be included in our application for 2nd mortagage to finance
the 2003 reunion in gensan. kudos to pres. angel, to chairman minda and to all

Am sufferring from "rws" also known as reunion withdrawal syndrome!
The only cure...visit the website.
Okay guys, keep the comments coming--positive or negative. It's the best way to
grow.
Besides, we can't let our OLD errr rather former President Angel rest yet.
Visualize this...when he reads your email/guest book entry, Angel is perched on
the armchair of this soft, black leather sofa in his living room, a cold soft
drink in one hand and a remote control on the other, 60's music in the
background. As your letter flashes on this 52 inch dvd screen in front of him,
he shakes his head in total amazement at this technological wonder, smiles in
sheer joy and contentment. His wife asked him a week ago, "Ti ano To,
maliwat ka pa sa pagkaPresident?" Before the reunion he empathically said,
"I'll crucify myself first!!". After the reunion, he says, "Siguro
kung may support gihapon...". Like I said, keep the comments coming. And
don't forget, the leader is only as good as the people he leads. And you guys
were the greatest! Prime
prima, the jetlagged but happy treasurer!

Hi, all of you out there! Just woke up to make up for the lost sleep
times the last four days I was in LA. Talk about staying up late to yak and
laugh...3 and 4 am bedtimes and waking up at 7 am! No wonder I slept so soundly
when I took a nap. Anyway, congratulations to the movers and shakers of this
event. It was truly wonderful to be there, I am still suffering from
"after the reunion blues." From the class of 1966, we need better
attendance next time, so I hope everyone can make it. There was Bessie
Demonteverde Yap, Minda Hingco Zamzam, Wilhelmina "Bing" Ferrariz,
and myself. Angeles...where were you? Anyway, I have to go back and take
another nap. Wonderful time with wonderful friends. Thanks to my hosts, Bing
and Prima. You are such good friends. Inday Tizon, take care! Love ya, people!

Angel, thanks a lot for a wonderful job. Thanks for insisting on me to attend.
I like the choir . Sariling atin and created a pinoy atmosphere. I enjoyed the
picnic too...thanks to the Paredes Family.
I am very happy how people cathcing the "UWI NA DAMEAN" fever. Your
enthusiasm challneges us to make the Golden Jubillee of NDDC more evenful. We
got a lot of suggestions which I think will make GENSAN people and our local
alumni get interested too. The more I feel your interests, the more I feel that
2 years is too long to wait for another reunion. Your support to NDDC is one of
my sources of energy to keep the school be on the level of your expectaions ...
a school that we could always be proud about. NDDC has dreams and a MISSION we
should carry it on. Thanks again and God bless.

I am from Class 1974 but from way out there in Cebu. The Notre Damean
Divinagracias are my husband Elmar and all his relatives. However having
attended three out of five of this organization's reunions has made me an
honorary Notre Damean. Almost, di ba Prima? Seriously now, I really enjoyed
this year's reunion. Everything was perfect except the dance music on gala
night. I loved the Power Point presentation and the choir. There were
interesting costumes including Angel's Irish tie, kuno. For all others dressed
in suits and tried to pass themselves as Italians kuno...sige na lang. They
blended well enough with the crowd.
I would like to extend special greetings to Tong and Lydia Divinagracia who
made it to the reunion this year. We did miss Celia and Noly Esma, and Cris
Dinopol this year.
As for 2003, that remains to be seen. It is painful enough to save money for
the fare and other expenses but our budget does not include ransom money. I'm
sort of kidding.

Notre Dame at Disneyland in two words..."WHEW AND WOW!" Just got back
from LA an hour ago. All the way home, (4 hours of flight LA-Detroit, 3 hours
stopover in Detroit, another 2 1/2 hours Detroit-Tampa), I replayed the events
of the past ten days in my head. The pictures, crisp and in living colors, were
so heartwarming. Now I know why--in spite of the hassles of travel, expenses,
minor and major glitzes--we keep coming back for more. Tonight before I fall
asleep, I will replay those reunion memories once more and pause at each
picture frame to relive the moments again and savor the joy of forming new and
renewing old friendships. Thanks for coming everyone. P.S. Your membership fee

Hi Folks!
I'd been informed by whiz kid, Prima, that the costume you wear during the
reunion gala night will be of your own choice. We can even go
"native" if we want to. Well, with the forecasted temperature that
day and with L.A.'s humidity (not to mention the smog) I'm prediciting a
scorcher. I was actually contemplating wearing a g-string to keep me cool and
looking native at the same time. MY wife said that I don't have the rear to
show, so I might as well forget it. At any rate, will it be rain or sunshine,
you can count on me. I will be there. I AM READY TO RUMBLE!

Job well done!!! My hat's off to "website" whiz kids, Chris and
Prima "Prime Time" Hower. With this website, you guys certainly made
the world a little more smaller than it used to be (no wonder mother earth is
over crowded ha! ha!) but nevertheless, you two made an outstanding job. I am
looking forward to seeing my high school buddies at the reunion. Engr Cris
Dinopol, Dr Rey Velasquez, Don Noli Esma, Pretty Boy Roger Catapang and the
rest of NDD class '67. Mabuhay and may our lives be like a roll of toilet paper...
long and useful!!!
