Our majestic cruise ship, the Helsinki Finland-built "Carnival Elation".
As the ship pulls away from San Diego Pier, the Elation Mascot greeted us.
One of the first events on board was "Dinner!" Here Leilanie displays "Melted Chocolate Cake", her dessert for the evening.
Elena Gonzalez enjoyed this Lobster and Tiger Shrimp main course. With this, who needs chocolate?

The next day we arrived at Catalina Island and boarded shuttles to the pier. These consummate professionals oversaw our safety.
Shore excursions included glass-bottom boats, semi-submersibles....
...and snorkeling.

Noh and Chris ran into this sight during their self-guided town tour. The entire building was ringed with Bison.
Avalon Bay boasts beautiful clear blue waters.
