Reunion 2005 June 23rd

Later that afternoon there was a picnic at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake, sponsored by Nena Adonay.

Due to the threat of rain we met beneath a covered area.	With beautiful surroundings.	B'BQue-han.	Kain na Dameans!

Yeah, there were logistical glitches, yet we had fun making friends with the park ranger (center) who drove us all up to the gate -Filipino style- hanging all over her truck.

For some reason they couldn't find our group reservation, then couldn't return our Notre Dame credit card! I knew the Feds have a deficit but did they think they'd get much by taking a non-profit organization's credit card?	Leaving the center.
On the drive in we whisk by the Space Shuttle Assembly Building.	After a film of the Apollo program we were led into the adjacent hall where an entire Saturn V rocket lay on its side.	It seemed to stretch on forever.	This gives you a good perspective on size. The next time you see film of the Saturn V, remember these USA initials.
